No More Simple Free Entry Competitions From ITV

It’s been a few months since ITV canned their last free online entry competitions on daytime TV shows, which is something we think will come back to bite them in the future. They held out longer than channel 4 and 5, where shows like Deal Or No Deal and The Gadget show have been forcing viewers down the postal route for some time. Hopefully sooner or later someone will test the legality of claiming a postal route is a free entry, as they aren’t offering a Freepost address as far as we can see, so that’s not much different to a chargeable phone call or text in our opinion.

The good news is that many of them still feature large cash prizes, and presumably that means that it follows that there will be less other people entering the prize draws since it’s no longer simply a case of filling in your details online. That probably means that you have a much better chance of winning, so you ca spend even more on giving baby that great start in life if you’re the lucky winner.

There are some competitions still available on their website, but these tend not to be the ones that feature on the TV shows, or to put it another way, they don’t really have the same huge value prizes on offer.

To find them, head over to the competitions section at itv.com and click the Free Competitions link in the header to see what’s available.
